Carinya Station

Carinya is a 6600ac farm catering for the self contained camper & those who want to experience our style of station life 1st hand. We run Merino & Merino X sheep for wool production & trade lamb sales along with dry land cropping a free range egg business, pigs, cattle & horses working dogs & more recently have ventured into feral goats. The time of year, family commitments & the weather will determine whats going on at the station for you to experience. We are not your ordinary farm stay. We encourage our guests to be involved. We expect you to be friendly, participate, have a interest in farming & how we work. If you have a trade we'll let your tyres down & you can stay forever! All guests are required to attend a farm tour at 9AM on your 1st morning, this covers safety, animal husbandry and provides an opportunity to answer questions. Thursday night we have a communal dinner by the campfire, we encourage you to be involved & bring a share dinner. Come to Carinya for the experience, a good time & to make friends - Don't come here because we're cheaper than staying in town. All Bookings through:

"Historic Bindara Station is located on the banks on the Darling River in outback New South Wales. The Station is ideally situated between the townships of Menindee and Pooncarie. It is also conveniently located between Mungo, Kinchega and Mootwingee National Parks. The beautiful and historic homestead, outbuildings, and cemetery are a living history that can explored firsthand. The area abounds in birds and wildlife. It is an idyllic location for a short stop over or longer break. An important part of the station experience is to observe the day to day running of the property.
