Kilcowera Station

Kilcowera Station Stay is a large organically run Cattle Station 1200 kilometers west of Brisbane on the Dowling Track in the Outback. Accommodation for visitors is provided in our modern and comfortable Shearers Quarters or try our camping sites by Cardenyabba Lagoon. Try our guided or self guided tours of the property and visit Lake Wyara part of Currawinya National Park. Kilcowera Farm Stay is open to visitors from late March through to 31st October. We are also a fully operating cattle station so sometimes we may be working with our cattle and musterers. Visitors are welcome at the same time.

Bramwell Station

Bramwell Station is the most northerly cattle station in Australia and offers a wide variety of services to the Cape York Peninsula. Located 3 hours North of Weipa or Archer River and 5 hours South of The Tip at the start of the OTL-4WD Adventure Track. Apart from being a working cattle station, Bramwell welcomes all Cape York visitors to our Tourist Park where we have been catering for bus tours and individual tours since 1983. The Bramwell Station Tourist Park is just 6km off the main road to the Tip – the Bamaga Road and offers accommodation units or camping grounds in a picturesque Cape York setting, adjacent the original homestead and cattle yards.

Boondooma Homestead

"Boondooma Homestead was the centre of the original Boondooma Station, which was settled in 1846 by three young Scotsmen. It was originally bounded by the hill east of Proston, Brovinia Creek to the north, Darr Creek to the south, and the Dividing Range to the west – a total of nearly 1,000 square miles. The homestead is one of the few remaining examples of an elegant wooden home built 1854-55. Visitors can walk through several buildings constructed in the 1850s, and spend time in the gardens, enjoying trees and vines also dating from the 1850s. Many/some people find connections with family members who lived or worked on Boondooma Station in years gone by. Detailed information is available about our buildings, museum and the people of Boondooma Station."
