We are looking for the help of a capable, friendly and fit Nomad couple with
their own rig who would be keen to settle on our beautiful property for up
to twelve months – life is never dull!
We are conveniently situated 45 minutes from the thriving town of Griffith,
one hour from Hay in NSW and halfway between Sydney and Adelaide and on the
edge of the Great Aussie Outback.
Bruce and Julie are the owners of this very busy working station and are a
very friendly and motivated people who have welcomed around 100 young
overseas volunteers and many Nomads since 2010 into their home and family -
what a wonderful world of wonderful people! Of course we will provide
references from previous Nomads.
In exchange for help around 3-4 hours a day with flexible hours (usually
mornings) we will provide you a powered site situated in a really beautiful
garden oasis with rain water – also some basic stores and garden produce as
well as the use of garden, pool, tennis court and interaction with farmstay
guests if you so choose.
We need help with preparing farmstay accommodation for guests, helping in
homestead and gardens, repairs and maintenance and helping care for our
friendly domestic animals and guests. Nomads are welcome to choose to head
out onto the farm with Bruce if they are interested to do so once the
farmstay and homestead is under control each morning.
